Sad News
We were particularly grateful to be meeting every week when we heard the devastating news that one of our much loved basses, Jeff Lewis, had died with Coronavirus on 15th April. When we met the following Wednesday, we were able to remember Jeff together, raising a glass to him and singing one of his favourites, Moon River. He was a snappy dresser with a fine collection of printed shirts and bright ties so we dressed up in his honour and shared stories and memories. We know that when we are able to meet together and sing again, the loss of Jeff’s voice and presence will be keenly felt but we will hold him in our thoughts, especially when we sing Moon River. Our love and condolences to Jeff’s family.
