In May we sang at the Marina Market; we had a bring and share buffet with amazing singing in Elizabeth&#8217;s garden in July; then we met up in Cwmdonkin Park, had a picnic and performed our summer concert repertoire. This coincided with live ITV news coverage from the park, during which Carol was interviewed and we sang Total Eclipse of the Heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When we sang this song in our concert in May we sent it with love to Bonnie Tyler, wishing her well in her recovery. After we sang it in Elizabeth&#8217;s garden on 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0July, we were shocked and sad to hear of her passing the following morning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It felt like a fitting tribute to sing it again in the park in August.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We always take a break from our weekly sessions during the summer but organise a few social gatherings to keep us connected.
